NJ Peel - Our Vision

NJ Peel believes that greening building and renewable energy strategies, if defined properly through a state standard and supportive public policy, is a vital and necessary economic stimulus and environmental stewardship responsibility that labor, management, business and government have a responsibility to act cooperatively in achieving.

NJ Peel believes training for green jobs as part of an economic stimulus and energy efficiency program should be provided by employers and employees managing bona fide, established training programs that prepare workers with the high skill sets necessary to support a career and earn a good wage.

NJ Peel believes certified apprenticeship and continuing training programs should play a leading role in properly preparing the green workforce today for the energy-savings innovations of the green building industries.
